Duke Looks For Revenge

Thursday night February 23 a revenge grudge match will be played in Florida when the Duke Blue Devils visit the Florida State Seminoles. The Blue Devils will be looking for revenge after losing to the Seminoles in an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup on January 21 at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Michael Snaer’s late buzzer beater gave the Seminoles the 76-73 win. The win for the Seminoles snapped Duke’s 45 game home winning streak. The Blue Devils will be looking to turn the tide on the Seminoles Thursday night. Florida State has an overall record of 19-7 and 13-11 ATS. They are 10-1 SU in their last 11 games. However, they are just 1-4 ATS in their last five. This past Sunday they visited the Wolfpack of North Carolina State as underdogs and easily dismantled the ‘Pack 76-62. At home, the Seminoles are 14-1 this season and 8-5 ATS.

Duke is 23-4 overall and 12-15 ATS. They have won seven of eight games since their home defeat against FSU. They downed Boston College 75-50 on the road and will enter the game on a high. Austin Rivers who is averaging 15 points per game leads Duke. His leadership and defensive play will help the team to remain calm amidst the loud raucous crowd that Florida State will assemble The game’s line started out with Duke as a 1-point favorite, went to a toss up and currently has the Blue Devils as 1.5-point favorites. The UNDER looks good for this game as it has gone that way in 12 of the last 16 meetings between the two. The last eight consecutive games at FSU have ended with the UNDER cashing out. Look for a revenge-minded Blue Devil team to play a scrappy defensive game with both the SU and ATS going in their favor. The total is currently at 140.5 and an UNDER should cash out there as well. Sharp money is leaning toward the Blue Devils with as much as 95% of the book behind Duke in some of the sportsbooks like bovada.
